Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is right in the center of Clifden, offering a brilliant location. The rooms, although clean and comfy, may need a facelift around the woodwork and paintwork. The dining experience was ok but may not suit those with dietary restrictions. The service was remarkable, going above and beyond to ensure a positive stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms definitely need a decor lift, but flushing the toilet wasn't an issue. Although some rooms were stunning, the views onto a flat roof and a dirty old wall were disappointing.
The hotel is situated excellently, right in the heart of the town with vibrant and efficient service. The rooms are a bit grubby but offer a good coffee machine. The dining experience is delicious, with freshly cooked meals, although there are some minor disappointments. Overall, a value for money stay with fantastic views and a great location for exploring the city and nearby attractions.
