The hotel is right in the center of Clifden, offering a brilliant location. The rooms, although clean and comfy, may need a facelift around the woodwork and paintwork. The dining experience was ok but may not suit those with dietary restrictions. The service was remarkable, going above and beyond to ensure a positive stay.

My room, facing the rear of the building on the second floor, was clean and comfy, and plenty big enough for my needs. The Nespresso coffee machine and Bluetooth loudspeaker added a classy touch.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms definitely need a decor lift, but flushing the toilet wasn't an issue. Although some rooms were stunning, the views onto a flat roof and a dirty old wall were disappointing.

The hotel is situated excellently, right in the heart of the town with vibrant and efficient service. The rooms are a bit grubby but offer a good coffee machine. The dining experience is delicious, with freshly cooked meals, although there are some minor disappointments.
